In December 2012 Solinia was invited by Dr Richard Bodmer to join a 10 days expedition on the river boats “Clavero” and “Nutria” on the Samiria River in the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve. Observations and counting of river dolphins but also of monkeys, birds, bats, caimans, fishes and other animals were conducted around the PV2 (Puesto de Vigilancia) Tacshacocha.
It was the occasion to visit this wonderful region and to understand the importance of this Reserve full of beautiful creatures. More than theoretical courses we had also the occasion to participate in transects helped by a biologist and local guides.
A report will be published very soon on our web site!
